It’s about time those day bass vibes hit downtown San Diego.

On Saturday, September 11th, Quartyard will transform its urban outdoor space into an open-air bass music underground It’s a Vibe, featuring artists Mimosa, Stoik, DJ Maggie, and Datphat on the decks.

With 22 years producing musical experiences, event producers BrokenBeat are teaming up with the Monarch Entertainment crew to deliver forward thinking visuals and sound to It’s a Vibe, curating that fully encompassing intimate concert experience we have all been so eager to return to.

Mimosa headlines the function, an artist known for his holy sh-t bassline drops and a variety of experimental styles, including vocal trap bangers with a noticeable hip-hop influence.  The DJ / producer has played at iconic festivals like Coachella, EDC, Bonnaroo, but is no stranger to the down and dirty underground.

Stoik blesses the speakers with dreamy sets that tell a story from first to last beat.  With music as a form of escapism, the San Diego native drops tracks that pull us out of the body and take us on a journey to the edges of our weird and wonderful human psyche, resulting in a fresh and unpredictable sound to the spiritual bass community.

DJ Maggie opens our third eyes with a special downtempo flow to raise the vibrations and draw us into the zen state.  Her chill bass often graces the stages of Moontribe events and she remains a resident DJ for Bluetech label Behind the Sky.

Datphat blesses our speakers with fun and sexy dance floor grooves and mashups.  This rhythm and bass selector rolls with the local Ego Trip and Bass Tribe crews, among other popular communities like Burning Man and DoLab.

This afternoon bash launches a new 21+ bass music concert series at Quartyard, but this creative handful of talent collaborates for one night only.  It’s time to release that expansive energy with other conscious music enthusiasts, let your soul go and feel the vibe.
